There are many types of graphic design. There are two differnent designers print and web.Print are designs to try and get the audience to stay on a page long enough to get the marketing message across.Web designs are to try and keep the audience on a specific website as long as possible. The layout of the design is the overall goal by using the elements of the design and presentation.

Graphic design plays a part in almost everything we touch. I have payed more attention to this since doing the reading. The desing of everyday items influence the choices of consumers. Name brand vs. generic brands are a good examples. Most items on the shelves of stores have graphic designs on the labels and these items can be identified by there design with out the product name. websites work the same way your home page for example can be identified by the design of the page. making the graphics a very important tool in everyday life.
